Of all the projects I've worked on in school, this is the most presentable. Its a game I contributed to in a game development class with a team of three other people. The project was a fun insight into problem solving and the process of going from an idea of a game to a published work. I worked on room (platforms, enemy placement) generation and also created all the music for the game. We created it using Flash (Action Script 3) and the Flixel game engine.
You can play the game here: http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/654866
At the end of this project, I also had the opportunity to create a tutorial on how to use the Flixel engine with the FlashDevelop IDE. It takes the form of a small project using some the assets from our game.
The finished tutorial can be found here: https://sites.google.com/site/basicflixeltutorial
